The Beachboxx is safe to use thanks to the robust materials it is made of. Although it is an effective way to secure your belongings, it does not offer a full guarantee against damage and/or theft. The steel cable is made of braided steel, which makes it very difficult to cut. Your belongings are therefore a lot safer than if you leave them in your bag or under a towel.

The housing is made of sturdy ABS plastic. ABS is known for its hardness. The security cable is made of braided steel wire. The lock mechanism is made of rust-resistant, nickel-plated zinc alloy, and the lock housing is also made of ABS plastic.
